Our Board of Directors consists of business professionals, scientists and public officials who have the vision to see protons as the future of radiation therapy in cancer treatment.

John Cameron, PhD
Founder, Chairman, President & Director
Dr. Cameron has a long and distinguished career in nuclear physics, medical technology, applications of accelerators, and research and development administration, and is among the pioneers in proton therapy. He played a pivotal role in the development of the Midwest Proton Radiotherapy Institute in Bloomington, Indiana, leading it from initial funding through construction. Dr. Cameron served as professor of physics and director of the Indiana University Cyclotron Facility and has directed major multi-disciplinary research and development institutes from 1984 to 2004. He has received more than $200 million in grants and contracts and served on numerous advisory and review boards for U.S. and foreign research agencies. Dr. Cameron was elected Fellow of the American Physical Society in 1987.

Dr. Cameron received his undergraduate degree in 1962 from Queens University, Northern Ireland, with first class honors, and his PhD from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1967.

Hadley Ford
Chief Executive Officer & Director
Hadley Ford has been involved in ProCure's development since its founding in 2005. He is a veteran of the financial industry with more than 16 years of experience raising and deploying capital for service and technology businesses. Most recently, he headed up the East Coast Technology Group and was Managing Director at Banc of America Securities. Mr. Ford has also served as CFO of Clearway Technologies and vice president in the Communications, Media and Entertainment Group at Goldman Sachs, as well as on numerous boards.

Mr. Ford graduated summa cum laude with a BS, BA from Boston University and received his MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.

John Frick
Director
John Frick has extensive experience investing in venture capital, leveraged buyouts and turnaround situations, with particular emphasis on healthcare services and healthcare technology. This experience was through Chisholm Private Capital Partners, Capricorn Investors, the Penn Central Corporation and Arthur Andersen & Co.

Mr. Frick has served on Oklahoma Governor Brad Henry's Science & Technology Council since 2004. Mr. Frick graduated cum laude with a BS from Allegheny College and received a MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Aubrey K. McClendon
Director
Aubrey K. McClendon is Chairman of the Board as well as the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Chesapeake Energy, the largest independent producer of natural gas in the United States. Mr. McClendon co-founded the company in 1989. From 1982 to 1989, he was an independent oil and gas producer. Mr. McClendon graduated from Duke University in 1981.

Shannon Self
Director
Shannon Self is co-founder of Commercial Law Group, PC in Oklahoma City. Mr. Self is a member of the Law Board of Northwestern University School of Law and a Director for Critical Technologies, Inc., a computer software company in Edmond, Oklahoma. He is also a co-founder and manager of Infinity Resources, LLC, an exploration and production company with interests in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado and New Mexico. From February 1991 to June 2005, Mr. Self served as a Director for Chesapeake Energy Corporation.

Mr. Self is a Certified Public Accountant. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1979 and from Northwestern University Law School in 1984.

Tommy G. Thompson
Director
Former Secretary of Health and Human Services Tommy G. Thompson is a partner at the law firm of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld and a senior advisor to the Deloitte Center for Health Solutions. He served as Secretary of HHS from 2001 to 2005 under President George W. Bush and was a four-term Governor of Wisconsin from 1987 until 2001. At Deloitte and Akin Gump, Secretary Thompson is building on his efforts as HHS Secretary and Governor to develop innovative solutions to the healthcare challenges facing American families and businesses. He also serves as Chairman of AGA Medical Corporation.

Secretary Thompson has dedicated his professional life to public service. He began his career in public service in 1966 as a representative in Wisconsin's state assembly. He's received numerous awards for his public service, including the Anti-Defamation League's Distinguished Public Service Award, the Governing Magazine's Public Official of the Year Award and the Horatio Alger Award in 1998. The Secretary has also served as chairman of the National Governors' Association, the Education Commission of the States and the Midwestern Governors' Conference, as well as in the Wisconsin National Guard and the Army Reserve.
