In order to offer our patients comprehensive cancer care around proton therapy, we have formed an alliance with Central DuPage Hospital (CDH), a nationally recognized hospital with a medical staff of more than 900. Patients who come to the CDH Proton Center, a ProCure Center for proton therapy, can receive all the additional care they need at the CDH Cancer Center adjacent to the proton center.
The new CDH Cancer Center in Warrenville, Illinois, is under construction with an anticipated opening of mid-summer 2010. The facility, located on Weaver Parkway southeast of Interstate 88 and Winfield Road, will provide the services cancer patients need in a single, convenient outpatient location. The center is designed around the needs of cancer patients, making easy access to services a top priority, such as:
Important support services will be provided in the CDH Cancer Center, including an onsite cancer pharmacy, diagnostic imaging services and laboratory studies. In addition, nutritional counseling, image enhancement services, pastoral care, support groups, patient education and prevention programs, and community outreach programs also will be available at the center for patients.
Througout the next two years, services are expected to grow at the CDH Cancer Center. Once all equipment is installed, the two facilities will treat nearly 40,000 patients annually. At the CDH Cancer Center, patients will find a comfortable, inviting atmosphere with care and compassion they can trust.
