Many patients will need additional medical care, such as chemotherapy, blood tests and other care that is not provided at the center. Affiliations with local hospitals ensure seamless, comprehensive cancer care beyond proton therapy so patients and their loved ones can focus on their health and wellbeing. At the ProCure Proton Therapy Center, Oklahoma, INTEGRIS Health is building a state-of-the art cancer institute, the INTEGRIS Cancer Institute of Oklahoma (ICIO), which is located adjacent to the center and will be providing integrated care.

Patient Care Team

Patients have their own personal Care Team that will remain with them from consultation through post-treatment follow up. A member of the Care Team will coordinate contact with patients' referring physicians and keep them updated on the progress of treatment.

All medical professionals at our centers receive intensive training on proton therapy at ProCure's Training and Development Center in Bloomington, Indiana.

Integrated Care with Referring Physicians

The Care Teams at ProCure proton therapy centers will work closely with referring physicians in planning the course of treatment for patients. We will maintain regular contact with referring physicians throughout treatment and will be available for consultation through follow-up care.
