Dr. Pepek graduated with honors from Georgetown University where he also obtained his medical degree. Dr. Pepek served as a Medical Officer for the U.S. Navy and the Marine Corps Chemical Biological Incident Response Force. Dr. Pepek has received numerous honors including two Navy Commendation Medals, a Navy Achievement Medal, and an Iraq Campaign Medal. He completed his residency at Duke University Medical Center where he was also chief resident.
Dr. Pepek has experience with intensity-modulated and stereotactic radiation therapy. He has presented and authored his research findings on lung and gastrointestinal malignancies.
